Far Cry: Primal شما را به عصر حجر خواهد برد و گویا باید با ماموت‎ها یا گربه‎های دندان شمشیری مبارزه کنید! در بازی شما در نقش فردی به نام TAKKAR یک شکارچی حرفه‎ای و آخرین شکارچی از گروه خود می‎باشد قرار خواهید گرفت. او به جایی می‎رود که هدف اصلی تمامی افراد زنده ماندن در برابر دنیای که انسان‎ها هم شکار می‎کنند هم شکار می‎شوند می‎باشد. بازیکن با گروهی که اولین کسانی هستند که می‎خواهند به بیابان بروند و آنجا را تحت کنترل خود قرار بدهند وارد بازی خواهد شد ولی مشکلی که دارند این است که خود آن‎ها شکاری برای جانوران بزرگ‎تر خواهند بود. البته شما تنها با حیوانات نمی‎جنگید بلکه گاهی برای تصرف سرزمین Oros باید با دیگر انسان‎ها هم مبارزه کنید! شما در بازی می‎توانید به استفاده از استخوان‎های حیوانات مرده برای خود سلاح‎های تزئینی درست کنید و یا با آن‎ها ابزاری‎های مفیدی برای شکار بسازید.....
